Polyurethane Panels (PUR/PIR)
KAMARIDIS GLOBAL WIRE S.A., faithful to its philosophy of the application of the latest technological advancements in the manufacturing of up-to-date construction material for cladding, walling and roofing, has started, since 2003, the production of prefabricated insulating panels (PUR/PIR) with hardcore polyurethane foam, fire resistant panels (rockwool) and fire resistant polyurethane panels (new series of PIRotherm) as well.
This new series PIRotherm, after years of testing in cooperation with the largest chemical companies, achieves improved polyurethane panels regarding fire reducing this way the emissions of carbon dioxide. The foam PIR structure (polyisocyanurate) of PIRotherm series ranked in the highest category S2 (BS2D0) due to minimal smoke emissions during its combustion.
The improved fire behavior (reducing smoke emissions and reduced spread of the flame) in combination with the best insulating capabilities, the highest mechanical strengths and the highest foam density, make this product the most reliable structural element of all polyurethane panels produced today.
Both Polyurethane and rock wool panels are produced in our new production facilities located at the 6th klm. Of the Old Thiva-Athens Highway, Greece.
KAMARIDIS GLOBAL WIRE S.A. for the distension of the hardcore polyurethane foam uses pentane rather than other chemical hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFC's) which are harmful to the ozone layer.
Our company products comply strictly with the European specifications and international regulations and quality assurance system EN ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Thermal insulating polyurethane panels PUR INSOTHERM® and PIR PIRotherm panels are up-to-date prefabricated construction materials which combine the high thermal insulation with the fine design. Parallel, thermal insulating polyurethane panels provide easy and fast installation, ideal for expansions with low construction and maintenance cost. Finally, insulated polyurethane panels can be produced in different types {roof (PRU), side-wall cladding (WPU), side-wall cladding secret fixation (SFPU), INSOTILE, etc.} depending on the final use.
Rock wool fire resistant panels
The rockwool fire resistant panels insotech® are composite, self-supported structural elements, consisting of two slightly formed steel sheets and an intermediate insulating core of rock wool boards.
The bonding of the two steel sheets with the rock wool boards is achieved during the panel manufacturing by hot injection of two-ingredient self-cured polyurethane glue of specific composition and resistance.
The special forming of the male - female panel ends, in order to interlock during fixing, combined with the concealed fixing system makes roof panels completely watertight without the need to protect the joint with additional sealing materials.
They are produced in two different basic types according to their use.
The Econodeck RW used in buildings roof coverings and Econowall RW used in side wall coverings and in construction of interior partitions and suspended ceilings.
The rockwool fire resistant panels are accompanied by the certificate of fire resistance of the Headquarters of the Fire Brigade.
Rockwool Sound insulating panels
The Rockwool sound insulating-sound absorbent panels insotech® are composite, self-supported structural elements, consisting of two slightly formed steel sheets and an intermediate insulating core of rock wool boards.
The bonding of the two steel sheets with the rock wool boards is achieved during the panel manufacturing by hot injection of two-ingredient self-cured polyurethane glue of specific composition and resistance.
The inner steel sheet is perforated almost throughout the usable area, so as to function as a sound absorbing material.
The special forming of the male - female panel ends, in order to interlock during fixing, combined with the concealed fixing system makes roof panels completely watertight without the need to protect the joint with additional sealing materials.
Panels are produced in two different basic types according to their use.
The Soundeck SRW used in buildings roof coverings and Soundwall SRW used in side wall coverings and in construction of interior partitions and suspended ceilings.
